The Australian Poker League is the biggest and richest poker league in Australia, catering to everyone from entry level players with little to no experience, all the way up to seasoned tournament grinders looking to take a share of our massive prize pools at major events.

The APL, established in 2005, was Australia’s first poker league. We recently incorporated the 888 Poker League and Pub Poker brands.

Our huge network of friendly Tournament Directors run nightly events in venues all across the country, some with a cash buy in and others free to enter.

Players of all experience levels can come along for the social atmosphere of a game of Texas Hold ‘Em, enjoy a meal and a drink and catch up with friends, new and old.

Our players can win significant cash prizes on the night as well as qualification into our major State and National events, the pinnacle of which is the APL Million held in March each year at The Star Sydney. The APL Million has a $1,000,000 Guaranteed Cash Prize Pool, with a minimum $250,000 first prize.

Due to incredible attendance at the 2019 APL Million our champion, Huss Hassan, of Sydney, walked away with $300,000 in cash!
